Christiansburg Parks and Recreation will again host a Fourth of July celebration that will have something for all ages on Saturday, July 3.
From 10 a.m. until 4 p.m., a festival will be set up on Main Street with live music, kids’ activities, Christiansburg Farmers’ Market vendors, craft vendors, food trucks, and more. The celebration will be capped off at approximately 9:15 p.m. by a fireworks display on the future Regional Park/Truman Wilson Property. The fireworks can be viewed from the Uptown Mall or Walmart parking lots.
The rain date will be Monday, July 5, in which case the festival will not be held, but the fireworks will still go on. Saturday’s festival will include performances by Gate 10 at 10:30 a.m., Flannel Jukebox at noon, and Don and the Deltones Plus at 1:30 p.m.
