Connie Viar, Montgomery County Registrar of Elections, will explain the new laws about voting, registration, and redistricting at a meeting hosted by the League of Women Voters of Montgomery County, on Thursday, Sept. 8, at 5 p.m. The event will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at 1301 Gladewood Dr.. Viar will talk about how the new voting rules and redistricting will affect elections in the New River Valley. The public is invited to attend the meeting.
