On Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, Blacksburg Baptist Church will celebrate its 170th anniversary with homecoming. The day will include worship at 11:15 followed by a catered lunch on the front lawn. Games for children and a photo booth for families will be a part of the celebration.
The lunch will be followed by a concert on the church’s front lawn. The congregation will recognize the faith and investments of those gone before who made the dream of the church possible and will recognize those who have served as church members in Blacksburg in the past and those who sacrificed in response to the attacks on America on Sept. 11, 2001.
