Aldora Keys Green, of Blacksburg, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and co-worker, passed away at 91 years of age on Dec. 29, 2022.
During her 67-year tenure at Virginia Tech and Radford University, she opened her home, wallet, and heart to every student she met. Aldora won multiple awards, including the prestigious Presidential Service Award, the Heroine Award, an award for perfect attendance; the In the Limelight Award; the Black Caucus Outstanding Award; and the Ring Dance Appreciation Award. She also won Radford’s President’s Volunteer Service Award.
A memorial service will be held in McCoy Funeral Chapel in Blacksburg on Friday, Jan. 6, 2023.
