BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 15.2-2204 & 15.2-2285 of the Code of Virginia of 1950, as

amended, the Montgomery County Board of Supervisors hereby gives notice of a public hearing

to be held on AUGUST 28, 2023 at 7:15 p.m. in the County Government Center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg, Virginia, in order to hear citizen comments regarding the Board of Supervisors intention to act on the following Special Use Permit request:

A request by PRIMO-CON INC., dba WACO INC. for a Special Use Permit (SUP) to allow a Contractor’s Service Establishment in existing structures. The site is located at 6604 and 6620 Roanoke Road, Shawsville (St. Rt. 11), and is located approximately .5 miles west of Alleghany Spring Road (St. Rt. 637). The property is further identified as

Tax Maps 083-C1-A71, 083-C1-A73, 083-C1-A72, 083-C1-A70 (Parcel IDs: 013297, 071261, 070708, 070709), 1.547 acres, zoned General Business (GB) in the Shawsville

Magisterial District. The property currently lies in an area designated as Village

Expansion in the 2025 Comprehensive Plan and is further designated as Civic in the Shawsville Village Plan.
