Salem/Roanoke baseball HOF August 13, 2019 0 Facebook Twitter Pinterest WhatsApp Photos by Brian Hoffman The Salem-Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame had its annual “Hall of Fame” night at Salem Memorial Stadium when the Red Sox played host to the Lynchburg Hillcats last week. Christiansburg High School’s Brady Kirtner (pictured on left) was a finalist for the Ray Bellamy Award, which goes to the high school Player of the Year in the area covered by the Hall of Fall. Kirtner receives the award from HOF president Charlie Hammersley. Patrick Henry’s Carter Plunkett was the winner among seven finalists of the Ray Bellamy Award presented by the Salem/Roanoke Baseball Hall of Fame. Also, Keith Reed of Auburn High School (pictured on left) was selected to receive the Posey Oyler Scholarship for dedication to the game. Reed received the award from HOF president Charlie Hammersley.
