Peppers Ferry Road between the Radford Army Ammunition Plant and Christiansburg is shut down after a tractor-trailer clipped a powerline and snapped a telephone pole. The roadway is blocked as emergency crews as of 1 p.m. try to clear the accident and repair the lines.
