Montgomery County Friends of Animal Care & Control (FACC) will host a New Year’s celebration on Dec. 31, 7 p.m.-12:30 a.m. at the Lyric Theater in Blacksburg to benefit the new Animal Care and Adoption Center.
Tickets are $12 and all proceeds benefit the new shelter.
The event will feature live music by the Hippie Holler Band, Flight One, The Mudd Daubers & Queen Bees with special guest Gary Brewer and Timewave Zero.
There will be food and drink available for purchase at the event and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight.
There will be several raffle prizes and a silent auction. Auction items include:
- A signed football by ACC Coach of the Year Justin Fuente
- 6 month membership to the Weight Club
- 60 minute massage from Eucalyptus Massage Therapy
- 4 golf passes and a cart rental at the Blacksburg Country Club
