Deedra Dyann “Dee” Gordon, 48, of Christiansburg, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, Jan. 8, 2017, following a brave battle with cancer. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Walter B. Gordon, Edna King, Wayne and Nina Hall, Granny Dot; best friend, Lisa Bowles.
Dee is survived by her children, Chanté Jones and Janelle Riley; parents, William Terrell and Janice Hall Gordon; siblings, Wendy (Jason) Turner, Paige (David) Helm; nieces and nephews, Braxton and Tenley Helm, Hadley and Hudson Turner; as well as a host of other family and friends.
Dee was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family received friends from 12-2 p.m.on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2017 at Fellowship Baptist Church with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. with Pastor James Bradley officiating. Interment followed in Sunset Cemetery.
