Hudson, Helen Haley

Helen Haley Hudson, 94, of Fairlawn, passed away Friday, Jan. 13, 2017 at Heritage Hall in Blacksburg. She was a member of the Alleghany Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Haley; her husbands, Audra Bond, Bud Owens and Carl Hudson; her son, Harold Davis Bond; and brothers Robert, Willard, Claude and Ward Haley.

Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Willard Mills of Fairlawn; step-daughter and her husband, Linda Sue and Dean Duncan of Floyd; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Eugene Haley, and Sherman and Virginia Haley, all of Christiansburg; sisters and brother-in-law, Ruth H. Gully of Alabama, and Louise H. and Marshall Sutphin of Christiansburg; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2017 at the Alleghany Church of Christ with Mr. Porter Riner officiating. Interment followed in Highland Memory Gardens in Dublin. The family received friends from 3-5 p.m. Sunday at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford.

Flowers will be appreciated or donation may be made to the Good Samaritan Hospice, 1160 Moose Drive, Christiansburg, VA 24073

The Hudson family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in Radford.
