Blacksburg Library Storytimes:
Babies (0-12 months) – Fridays at 11 a.m.
Tots (12-24 months) – Fridays at 10:30 a.m.
Toddlers (2-3 years) – Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m.
Preschoolers (4-5 years) – Thursdays at 10 a.m.
All ages – Saturdays at 11 a.m.
Stay and Play, a Library Playgroup
Every Wednesday after Storytime, 10:30-11:30 a.m., at the Blacksburg Library
Under their parent’s supervision, babies and toddlers can play during this informal gathering. This program is for ages 0-4 and meets in the storytime room.
Birds by Robert Bateman: February Book Raffle

The Fourth Annual Blacksburg Restaurants’ Chili Crawl
Thursday, Feb. 23, 12-2 p.m.
Celebrate National Chili day at the Blacksburg Library with some of your favorite Blacksburg Restaurants. Chili lovers will enjoy sampling a variety of chili creations. Stop in and visit each chili bar to get a taste of the flavor of each participating restaurant.

All ages are invited to submit favorite book titles for our new display that will highlight the books our patrons like to read. Send the titles via Facebook or fill out a form inside the library.
StoryWalk

Exercise your brain and body as you walk the trail while stopping to read. Begin at the library or the College Street entrance of Downtown Park.

Page to Screen: An Online Book Club Wednesday, Feb. 22, 12-2 p.m.
Join our new online book club to discuss “Big Little Lies” by Liane Moriarty. Set to premiere as a mini -series in 2017, the story follows three mothers, each at a crossroads, and their potential involvement in a riot at a school trivia night that leaves one parent dead in what appears to be a tragic accident, but which evidence shows might have been premeditated. Stop by the library to pick up a copy of the book.
