Radford High School is hosting its first annual “Cow Pie Bingo” on Saturday, April 29. Cash prices of $3,000, $2,000 and $1,000 will be awarded.

A $20 ticket purchase will secure a randomly selected two by one yard square on the RHS Football Field. If one of the cows “poops” on your square on the field, you are a winner. Cow pie bingo tickets can be purchased at each RCPS school, school board office or electronically through Eventbrite (Bobcat Cow pie Bingo).

Gates open at 5 p.m. for food and music with the cows being released at 6 p.m.

The fundraiser will support the Radford High School ACCE (Access to Community College Education), The Partner of Excellence Foundation and The Radford High School Foundation.

ACCE Program – ACCE is a public/private partnership which makes college available tuition-free to 2017 graduates from Radford City. It covers the cost of tuition for two years at New River Community College. ACCE supports as many students as possible based on student need and funds available for the program. Radford City has committed to $25,000 leaving an additional $50,000 to be raised from local business and industry. If you would like more information contributing to the ACCE program please contact the Educational Foundation Office at 674-3618.

Partners for Excellence Foundation – The mission of the Radford City Schools Partners For Excellence Foundation, Inc. is to support and enhance the educational experience of the Radford City Schools students through business and individual partnerships.

Radford High School Foundation – The Radford High School Foundation, Inc. was formed as a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization in 1986 for the purpose of supporting and enhancing Radford’s already successful school system. The foundation began as primarily an academic supporter, but has been able to further major athletic facility initiatives by acting as liaison in public/private projects. The foundation has also donated more than $510,000 in classroom grants and scholarships to all four of the city schools.
