Shelor Chevrolet is proud to partner with Montgomery County Parks and Recreation again in 2017 for Chevy Youth Baseball. Shelor Chevrolet will offer a free Chevy Youth Baseball Instructional Clinic from 6-9 p.m. April 4 at the Motor Mile Park in Montgomery County.
This clinic is open to boys and girls ages 6-14. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn new skills from the expert staff of Ripken Baseball comprised of former professional and college league players who travel throughout the country hosting camps.
Youth league members will spend a half day in various rotations such as fielding, hitting and pitching, supervised by collegiate and professional baseball players and coaches. Family members are invited to tag along for a fun day in the sun.
Participation is free of charge. To register for this clinic, visit http://rsvp.youthsportswired.com/; select “Roanoke” market. The login password is “playball”.
Montgomery County Parks and Recreation was given baseball equipment, a $500 check and will host a test drive event to earn an additional $500.
“This is becoming an annual tradition”, said Chris Slusher, Athletics Supervisor at Montgomery County Parks & Recreation “We can’t thank our friends at Shelor Chevrolet enough for all they do. The equipment is always needed and we can’t wait to co-host the annual baseball clinic in April.”
