Doris W. Dyer age 88, of Blacksburg died Tuesday, March 28, 2017.
She was born in Gary, Indiana on Feb. 14, 1929 to the late Wade and Teresa Williams. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bob Dyer.
Doris retired after over 30 years of public school teaching. She was an extremely talented seamstress and an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Tom Inzana; four grandchildren, Chris, Jason, Jeannine and Alexia; two great-grandchildren, Kadin and Evelyn; and her sister, Marlyn McBroom.
Graveside services will be held at Lynhurst Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee on Saturday, April 15 at 11 a.m.
