Annie Bannister Jones, 89, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Willie H. Jones; parents, Gratton and Elvira Bannister; sisters, Sadie Morris, Hattie Dennis and Virginia Carr; brothers, William and Roy Bannister.
Survivors include her sister, Kathleen Robinson, and special nephew, Charles “Buncie” Bannister.
A homegoing service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 31 at Schaeffer Memorial Baptist Church, 580 High St., Christiansburg with the Rev. Dr. Lee E. Suggs Sr. officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
