Shirley Jean Bryant, 67 of Riner, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 11, 2017. She was born Sept. 13, 1949.


She was preceded in death by her parents Lloyd and Violet Pack and in laws, Robert and Susie Bryant, and a great grandchild. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Allen Bryant; her children and their spouses, Jimmy and Barbara Pack, Willis, Allen Junior Pack, Riner, David Wayne Helton, Christiansburg, Mary Ann and Jeff Linkous, Riner, Melissa and Luke Lucas, Hiwassee, Jackie Bryant and Fiancée Carl Letner, Riner; three sisters and spouses, Alice and Wayne Bishop, Peggy and Roger Thomas, Phyllis and Charles Lutz; brothers, Bobby Pack and wife Kay, Buford Dickerson and 12 special grandchildren and 16 special great grandchildren.

Thank you to Carilion Hospice for the care given to our mother. Funeral services wiere conducted Monday, May 15, 2017 in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with Mary Lou Akers officiating.

Interment will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. Sunday evening at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW, Blacksburg.
