Allen Posey Bryant, 68, of Riner died, Wednesday, June 7, at Radford Health and Rehab Center.
He was born in Christiansburg, VA on Sep. 6, 1948 to the late Robert and Susie Trail Bryant and was also preceded in death by his wife Shirley Jean Bryant, one sister, Helen Dickerson and two brothers, Lloyd Bryant and David Joe Bryant, sister-in-law, Lovina Bryant, and by a great grandchild.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Melissa and Luke Lucas, Hiwassee, Jackie Bryant and fiancee, Carl, Jr., Pulaski, Maryann and Jeff Linkous, Riner, sons and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Pack, Floyd, Allen Pack, Riner, David Helton, Riner, special granddaughter, Miss Mac (Danielle), special nephew, Bobby Bryant, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and many special friends. A special thanks to Carilion Hospice and Radford Rehab Center.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Steve Akers, Rev. Mary Lou Akers, and Mr. Bobby Bryant officiating.
Interment will follow in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr. S.W. Blacksburg, VA.
