Construction workers set a concrete beam spanning the east-bound 460 bypass for the new Virginia Tech interchange bridge last Wednesday night. Installation of the 16 beams for the bridge was done at night to minimize impact to traffic this past week. The project is scheduled to be completed by December 2018.
