She and other volunteers served lunch to visitors to the Radford Fairlawn Daily Bread kitchen at 501 E. Main Street in Radford. The Day of Caring is an annual event that this year brought volunteers together to work on projects like rebuilding handicapped-access ramps, delivering Meals-on-Wheels, serving in kitchens, sorting clothing, and working with underserved populations.
