A second organizational meeting for the Christiansburg Arts Council has been set for Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017 in classroom 2 of the Christiansburg Recreation Center at 7 p.m.
In its first meeting, the group listed eight priorities including tourism, promoting arts and all of its mediums, round table opportunities for those involved in the arts, increasing art activity, producing public art, providing venues for art, encouraging people to be involved in the arts for all ages and inclusiveness for those involved in our area.
