Tori Boyd passes the ball to an Auburn teammate during Thursday’s 25-11, 25-14, 25-11 win over Bland County. Rachel Harding had 18 kills and 18 digs, while Emma Sutphin had 10 kills and Logan Long added 30 assists for Auburn who is now 14-4 overall and 8-1 in Mt. Empire District play.
Also Thursday night, the Lady Eagles were presented with their new banner from the Side Out Foundation for their part in October’s Breast Cancer awareness activities. Last year, they surpassed the $50,000 mark in monies raised since 2009 as part of “Dig Pink” night.
