Hazel Blankenship Triplett Quesenberry, 83, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 at her home in Radford surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 16, 1934 in Paynesville, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Clark and Allie Baker Blankenship.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Russell R. Quesenberry; son and daughter-in-law, Jackie Ray and Rita Triplett of Hiddenite, N.C.; daughters, Patsy Carol Stapleton of Fayetteville, N.C. and Glenda Joyce Morris of Salem, Va.; stepson, William Larry Quesenberry of Dublin, Va.; stepdaughter, Carrie May Stress of Bluefield, W. Va.; brothers, Vernor Blankenship of Hurley, Va., Claude E. Blankenship of Brentwood, Tenn., James E. Blankenship of New Market, Ala., and Arnold Blankenship of Baltimore, Md.; sisters, Edna Blankenship of Hurley, Va., Nell Payne of Huntsville, Ala., and Media Winters of Florence, S.C.; 6 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 p.m. today, Oct. 28, 2017, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. with Rev. Justin Quesenberry and Rev. Dale Akers officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, 2017 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery.
