Auburn’s Emma Sutphin and setter Logan Long both go after the loose ball. Sutphin made it there first to save the play. Auburn defeated Ft. Chiswell 25-16, 25-15, 25-21 Thursday night in Riner. Long had 27 assists in the win.Jaylin Shepherd gets one of her 23 digs. She also added four aces for the Lady Eagles. Rachel Harding also had 11 kills in the game.Auburn moves to 19-4 overall on the season and advances to this week’s regional play after winning both the regular season and tournament championship.
