Robert “Bob” Counts, of Fairlawn, passed away early Sunday morning Dec. 10, 2017. He was born in Dickenson County Virginia on August 13 1934.
Bob Counts retired from the Arsenal in Radford, Va., where he was a designer for 39 years. He enjoyed life to the fullest and brought a smile with him all his days. His favorite hours were the ones he spent cutting down trees and splitting wood with his son, Jerry.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Kathy Counts of Fairlawn; son, Jerry Counts of Radford and grandson Devon; son, Robert Counts (Phyllis) and two
grandchildren of NJ; daughter, Vicky Holt (Chuck) of Chesterfield, and two
granddaughters; daughter Amy Counts (Ron), of Jacksonville, FL and Carol
Capehart (Jason) and grandson Jeffery Crouse, Jr. of Midlothian; and several great
grandchildren He is also survived by a brother Jimmy Counts of Virginia Beach.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
The Counts family is in the care of Mullins Funeral Home & Crematory in
Radford.
