Robert (Bobby) Louis Dove, Jr., 68, of Christiansburg died, Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at New River Valley Medical Center. He was born in Christiansburg, VA on January 28, 1949 to the late Robert Louis, Sr. and Sharlett Ratcliffe Dove.
He was a loving and dedicated husband, father, and the best Pawpaw in the world. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mabel Elaine Dove; sons and daughters-in-law, Steven L. and Shannon Dove, Dennis D. and Amy Dove; daughter, Pamela I. Dove; grandchildren, Kenneth, Travis, Holly, Keisha, Jessica, Rachel, Dakota, and Emillee; great-grandson, Lane; brother, Dennis (Freddy) Dove; mother-in-law, Lura Davis; special brother-in-law and sister-in-law and breakfast buddies, Sherman and Debbie Earley; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Hilda and Bill, Jo and Clayton, Dale and Nancy, Gail and William; two aunts, Joan and Shirley; special cousin, Peachie; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral Services will be conducted today, Jan. 10, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dewey O. Weaver officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. The family received friends Tuesday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Dr.S.W. Blacksburg, VA 24060.
