The pets-of-the-week come from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center. Each Saturday the News Messenger features a dog and cat from the facility available for adoption. A staff favorite, Princess, 3, is a go-with-the-flow kind of gal. She came to the Animal Care and Adoption Center in October and is looking for a loving home. She has been great with any other cat she has been around. Princess loves to be petted and cuddled.Toby, 1, is a very active pup who would love to see the world as someone’s running or hiking partner. He is good with other dogs as well as kids. He’s a healthy Jack Russell Terrier mix weighing about 46 lbs.
