USAF Veteran John “Sam” Frank Wells, Jr., 85, of Christiansburg, VA returned to our Heavenly Father on Friday, Feb. 2, 2018. He is survived by two sisters and was preceded by the mother of his children, Maida Joann Wells and two of their sons; Leland Wells and Robert Wells.
Their surviving children in Virginia include, Mick Snyder, Carl Snyder, Scott Wells, Roger Wells, Donna Whittaker and Rebecca Scott. In New Mexico, Frank “Bo” Wells and in Georgia, Yvonne Limerick.
To his legacy, he leaves behind 24 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
A Graveside Service will be conducted at noon on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery in Dublin, VA. The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at McCoy Funeral Home, 150 Country Club Drive SW Blacksburg, VA 24060.
