Robert Wade Crigger, 54, of Christiansburg, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Wade Crigger; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Robert is survived by his wife, Margaret Crigger; mother, Carolyn Phillips (Charlie); grandmother, Pauline Crigger; son, Samuel Crigger; daughter, Allison DePoy (Adam); adopted daughter, Shire Martin (MJ); adopted grandchildren, Greyson Martin, Ezra Martin; sisters-in-law, Renée Hester, Lisa Ralston; aunts, Shirley Arnold (Wayne), Judy Riley; niece, Haley Killian; and cousins, Ben Arnold (Laura), Jonathan Riley.
Robert was an avid Nascar fan who also loved drag racing (you could find him at the track many weekends). He loved to fish and was proud past-president of the Auburn High School Band Boosters as well as all around handyman for his band kids.
Robert could make everyone smile,was everyone’s favorite person and one of the best storytellers. But most of all he will be remembered as a devoted husband and father and the best PopPop to his adopted grandsons, Grey and Ezra.
