Each Saturday the paper features a dog and a cat from the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center (480 Cinnabar Road, Christiansburg).
Those interested in adopting a pet can call 382-5795 or visit www.montgomerycountyva.gov/acac. Hours are 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Monday through Friday and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Walk-ins are welcome.
