Volunteers are needed to provide non-emergency medical transportation to clients in Montgomery County and Radford. The volunteer must use their personal vehicle and maintain liability insurance at all times. Mileage reimbursements are provided to each volunteer. Call RSVP at 540-382-5775

The United Way of the NRV is looking for volunteers to assist with general clerical and daily office activities that are crucial to the operations of the organization. Volunteers should enjoy interacting with the public, working on a computer, and being a part of a team. This position requires a commitment of 6-8 hours per week. Montgomery County Emergency Assistance Program Clothing Shop – Blacksburg
Volunteers are needed on Thursday mornings at the MCEAP Blacksburg Clothing Shop. Volunteers will assist customers with their purchases and arrange clothing for display. MCEAP is a volunteer organization that provides assistance to needy families in our community. You are invited to join a group of friendly seniors as they help our community. NRV Home Builder’s Home Expo
Volunteers are needed to staff the front lobby welcome table during The New River Valley Home Builder’s Association Home Expo
The NRV Home Builder’s Home Expo is being held at the Christiansburg Recreation Center on Friday, March 9 from 4-8 p.m.; Saturday, March 10 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, March11 from 12 -5 p.m.. Admission is $5.00 for the general public. Please call our office if you would like to work a shift at the expo!
