A meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday in the Multi-Purpose Room on the first floor of the Montgomery County Government Center, located in Christiansburg.
The room is across the hall from the Montgomery County Cooperative Extension Service.
This is a very important meeting where changes to the Margin Protection Program-Dairy will be discussed.
There are many positive changes in the program which dairy producers will want to hear. Individual farm information will be provided which will assist the dairyman in making their selection for the 2018 MPP.
“Producers are encouraged to attend this very important meeting!” the USDA announcement said.
