The Virginia Tech Women’s Club (VTWC) is a support organization for the VT community. The mission of the VTWC is to expand the intellectual and social horizons of members, provide scholarships to current VT students, and promote the interests of Virginia Tech. Club members share common interests and engage in stimulating educational and social events.
In addition to the scholarship program, VTWC also sponsors quarterly club events featuring speakers from the community, an active Travel and Tours group, and twenty special interest groups ranging from Hiking and Dining Out, to Bible Study and Book Clubs.
VTWC also sponsors monthly “Friday Forums” that are open to the public and free of charge featuring a broad array of lectures and discussions on topical issues. These Friday Forums help connect the VTWC with the NRV community in a fun and informative manner.
Membership is open to all women who support the stated purpose of VTWC. The club welcomes all women who are interested in sharing opportunities for intellectual growth, friendship, social activities, and service to Virginia Tech.
