To celebrate the success over the past year and to thank the community who has been supportive, the Montgomery County Animal Care and Adoption Center (480 Cinnabar Road, Christiansburg) is hosting a one-year anniversary celebration and open house beginning at 11 a.m. today.
Many fun and interactive activities for all ages are planned to include agility demonstrations; stuffed animal surgical repair clinic (while supplies last); conservation dog demonstrations; rock painting; face painting; and much more!
Refreshments will be provided to include Homestead Creamery ice cream, goodies from Hethwood Market, and fresh popped popcorn (all while supplies last). Attendees can also enter to win door prizes.
This event is free to the public. Parking for the event will be available at the gravel parking lot neighboring the center on Cinnabar Road.
The facility is open until 4 p.m. on weekends.
