Attendees enjoyed a sun-washed Summer Solstice Festival on Saturday in Blacksburg.
Nathan and Lindsay Lindeberg’s Big Lick Ice Cream Company was a popular stop for folks enjoying the Summer Solstice Festival this past weekend in Blacksburg.

The Virginia Tech Department of Entomology was on hand promoting their “Hokie Bug Festival” at the Summer Solstice Fest on Saturday. Visitors were able to view hissing cockroaches, tarantulas, and colorful scorpions.
Members of popular Blacksburg bands “The Kind” and “Electric Woodshed” combined forces to close out Summer Solstice Fest performing as “Kind of Woodshed” on the main stage.
