Blacksburg High School took the Class 4 boys soccer title earlier this month, and senior Austin Bissell was named the state’s player of year.Blacksburg coach Shelly Blumenthal was named the Class 4 boy’s all-state soccer coach of the year.Sophomore Daniel Salom was also named to the boys Class 4 all-state first team. On the girls’ side of the field, Blacksburg’s Sarah Linkenhoker and Skyler Prosser were named to the Class 4 second team.Sam Dickinson joined his Bruin teammates on the first team.
