Michael von Spakovsky swims hard in the boys 11-12 50-yard freestyle, placing second with a time of 40.96 for the Christiansburg Aquatic Center team.

Ali Taylor swims the opening butterfly leg in the 100-yard IM to win the girls 7-8 year old division for the Blacksburg Country Club swim team.
A heat of the 8 and under 25-yard backstroke gets under way during week 3 of the SVSL at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.
