The Radford Photo Club met on Thursday, July 5. The theme for July was “Vacant.”
Linda Waggaman placed first with her abandoned school house in Ohio, Chuck Lynch with his vacant picnic table, Rebecca Harris with her photo of Saint Albans Hospital and Bill Sydor’s prehistoric Sinagua dwelling in the Wupatki and Sunset Crater National Monument in Arizona taken in April of 1996, tied for second place.
Linda Waggaman placed first with her egret photo taken from the Isle of Palms and Don Hall placed second with his photo of a view along St. Ann Street next to Jackson Square in New Orleans French Quarter.
The August meeting will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30 at the Radford Public Library.
