Mountain View Humane hosts its first annual Spay-ghetti NRV lunch and dinner on Sept. 18 at Christiansburg Presbyterian Church (107 W Main St., Christiansburg).

“We are looking for lots and lots of volunteers. We need people to help with a variety of jobs from hosts, waiters, and cooks, to delivery runners and floaters. Volunteers for set-up and clean up are also greatly appreciated,” the MVH announcement said.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner will be served from 4:30-7:30 pm.

Advance tickets will be $10 per person, and $12 at the door. Advance tickets for delivery will be sold through September 11, and advance tickets for dine-in and take-out orders will be sold through September 17.

Spaghetti, sauce, bread, salad (there’s a salad bar for those who dine-in), and a beverage will be served.

Tickets are available for sale at https://app.donorview.com/LEpw or at the Mountain View Humane Society front desk.

Large and corporate delivery orders are only available for lunch, but these orders are prepared by Olive Garden and will be delivered free of charge by MVH staff and volunteers.

Dine-in and take-out orders will be a delicious fresh Italian dinner too.

“We encourage guests to stay because we will have a bake sale in the dining hall for guests to purchase a delicious homemade baked goodie. There will also be a raffle to win a cat and dog themed prize,” the MVH announcement said.

If you or someone you know wants to help out or needs more information, contact Dayna Reynolds at dreynolds@mvhclinic.org.

“We wouldn’t have been able to do this without our wonderful sponsors! Thank you so much to Olive Garden and Christiansburg Presbyterian Church.”
