Ross Gene Linkous, 76, of Christiansburg died, Thursday, Aug. 23, 2018, at Lewis Gale Hospital-Montgomery. He was born in Montgomery County, Va. on December 18, 1941 to the late Lee W. and Louise Rush Linkous.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Shirley Hawks Linkous, children, Ross Linkous Jr. and wife, Connie, Sue Eanes and husband, Richard, Carl Linkous, Vicky Linkous, Rodney Linkous and wife, Deana, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-eight great-grandchildren, sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Everett Shepherd, numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services were conducted on Aug. 27, 2018 at 11:00 am in the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sebert Rorrer officiating.
Interment followed in the Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Christiansburg. The family received friends from 6-8 pm Sunday evening at the McCoy Funeral Home.
