Blacksburg High School volleyball player, Anabel Zier (left), has been named this year’s River Ridge District’s player of the year. She was joined on the first team by teammates, Amanda Lowe and Sarah Boyle (right). Melody Scale was second team, and Jolee Sloss and Lydia Peton honorable mention.
Christiansburg’s Rachel Feggeler was also named to the All-River Ridge District first team. Blue Demons also placed Laurel Whyte on the second team and Katlin Wilson on the honorable mention listing.
