Meet the Artist: Machiko Oshima Turner

Wild Garden Club: Wild Herbs Workshop
Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 1:00 – 3:00 at the Jessie Peterman Memorial Library, Ed and Maya Skopal are offering a free introductory class in the use and preparation of some local wild herbs. Ed and Maya own I-Tal Acres here in Floyd and grow their own herbs to make wonderful tinctures and salves. They have an amazing knowledge of local plants, not just how to use them but how these plants live, grow and interact in our web of life right in our own backyards. Their presentation will be followed by questions and answers and an optional pot-luck. Bring all your picnic needs (plates, utensils etc.) and a big tasty pot luck dish to share with lots of hungry folks.
