Auburn High School defeated (25-14, 25-18, 25-21) George Wythe Wednesday night to win the region title. Auburn is now 21-0 and advances to the state quarterfinals to face Chilhowie tonight at home.Auburn’s Alane Tiller (pictured) sends the ball back to George Wythe during Wednesday’s contest. Logan Long finished with 25 assists and 11 digs, while Jaylin Shepherd had 14 digs in the contest. Rachel Harding tallied nine kills and 13 digs, and Becca Harding had nine kills in the win.
