Community Foundation of the New River Valley

Thursday, Feb. 21, 2019

Montgomery County Public Schools Office

750 Imperial Street, Christiansburg

First Steps is a network of early childhood educators and social service providers in the NRV dedicated to strengthening connections in support of children and families.

For the past two years we’ve been working to improve coordination among service providers, share the importance of investment in early childhood with a broad audience, and support the workforce. At this meeting, you’ll learn about the network’s accomplishments to date, hear about how the NRV stacks up on key measures of childhood health and educational success, and discover how you can get involved.
