Horace M. “Buzz” Scanland , Jr. born July 18,1935 of Elliston, passed away at home surrounded by family Dec.17, 2018.
He retired as manager of Mt. Lake in 2013. He had many accomplishments in life, his greatest was his love of family and friends. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Joanne Scanland; son, David Scanland and wife Debbie; daughter, Lisa Flippin and husband, Jerry; daughter, Julie Layton; daughter, Paige Kelly and husband, Jon. Seven grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, 2019 at McCoy Funeral Home.
