League of Women Voters hosts annual dinner, featured speaker presents “Unfinished business: the past, present and future of our movements”

Brandy S. Faulkner, assistant professor of political science at Virginia Tech will speak to the League of Women Voters at the annual dinner.

League of Women Voters on Montgomery County is hosting its annual dinner meeting at the Village Center on May 2 at Warm Hearth (2387 Warm Hearth Drive) in Blacksburg. A social gathering will begin the evening at 5:30 with wine, beer and soft drinks at a cash bar, dinner at 6:30 will be followed by a featured speaker presentation.

Brandy S. Faulkner, assistant professor of political science at Virginia Tech will explore “Unfinished business: The past, present and future of our movement: Where will we go with the ERA?”

A business meeting will follow the discussion.

Dinner and the gathering costs $25. Please send checks, made out to LWVMC to Elva Miller, 205 Woods Edge, Blacksburg VA 24060. Indicate if you prefer a plant-based entrée.
