CHRISTIANSBURG – It’s a plant party, and you’re invited!

The New River Valley Master Gardener Association is holding its annual plant sale on Saturday, May 11 from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. It’s on the front lawn of the Montgomery County Government Center on Roanoke Street in Christiansburg.

This annual fundraiser, which provides grants each year to many local gardening groups, will be held rain or shine.

We will be selling perennials, annuals, shrubs, vegetables, and more. Some have been donated by local businesses, while many have been raised by NRV master gardeners themselves.

Besides being the perfect location to find last minute mother’s day presents, you’ll also be able to purchase plants for your own gardens, ask master gardeners questions to your most pesky garden problems, and have a good time being around others who share your interest in gardening.

Plants may be purchased with cash or checks only; no credit cards.

So come join us for this annual celebration of spring and all things gardening! We’re looking forward to seeing you there.A
