Agnes Price Dobbins of Riner, passed away on April 30, 2019. She was born October 1, 1921 and grew up in Willis, Va. to the late Rufus Price and Norellen Gay Saunders Price.
Agnes lived in the Riner community for 50 plus years. She later moved to Blacksburg, Va. She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior many years ago. She was a member of First Baptist Church Rock Road, Radford, Va., and for the last four and a half years she attended First Baptist Church Clay Street, Blacksburg, Va. Agnes is preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Dobbins, one daughter, Fredia Frances Dobbins and by her siblings, Ula Price Dobbins, Mary Jane Stigger, Ruby Conner, Eller Pack, Elsie Price Saunders.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Wade (James), Blacksburg, Va., sons, Henley Dobbins (Doris), Radford, Va. Jimmy Dobbins, Fairlawn, Va. Agnes had 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and four great great grandchildren, host of nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 12 p.m. in the First Baptist Church, 555 Rock Rd., Radford, Va. with the Rev. C. Coles Casey and Rev. Ron Parker officiating. The family will receive friends from 11-12 p.m. Saturday prior to the service. Arrangements by McCoy Funeral Home, Blacksburg.
