Blacksburg/Christiansburg, Virginia –The Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting for Downtown Blacksburg Inc. and Montgomery County VA Regional Tourism Office last week.
In an announcement, the chamber said that both organizations, located at 318 N. Main Street in Blacksburg, are well known within the community, and moved to their space within The Artful Lawyer Gallery earlier this year.
“It is essential to the community to have Downtown Blacksburg Inc. and Montgomery County VA Regional Tourism located so centrally, and we think this new space is a wonderful way to marry the arts and culture of Blacksburg with the vibrancy of a wonderful downtown retail sector,” Chamber Executive Director Sharon Scott said.
Downtown Blacksburg Inc. is a member-based organization with initiatives to support and grow downtown Blacksburg’s business district. Montgomery County VA Regional Tourism Office is a resource to help visitors and locals alike.
