Emily Scaggs celebrates after fellow teammate got a hit to bring her home as Auburn advanced to the state Class 2 semifinals with Tuesdays 9-0 win over PH-Glade Spring. Scraggs drove into two runs with an infield single.Auburn’s Adyson Huff slides into home and will be safe in Tuesday’s action. Auburn is now 23-2 on the season. Leah Harrison drove in two runs for the Lady Eagles in the bottom of the third as the team totaled 10 hits and drew seven walks. Virginia Tech recruit Skylar Dehart struck out 10 and allowed only three base runners as she picked up the win.
