“La vie est belle,” says local author, Michael Abraham, as he recounts his travels to picturesque France as he recovers from his 500-kilometer Camino de Santiago trek wandering with watercolor painters among rugged montane, open-all-hours sandwich shops, blue-shuttered houses and geraniums in window-boxes.
